John Wild is the founder of the Orange Kettlebell Club which has hundreds of members in over a dozen countries. I wanted to find a physical job after high school where I could maintain a fit lifestyle so I joined the United States Marine Corps and then the Army.
After the military, I was motivated to become a personal trainer and black belt in martial arts. I have worked in the gyms since 2003 and got a Black Belt in Hapkido in 2006. I also train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Ashihara Karate.

Kevin is a California native with an immense passion for holistic fitness/wellness and nutrition. Gwen graduated from CSU-East Bay with a Liberal Studies Major, on the credential track, and a Studio Art minor. Her original intention was to become an art teacher. Since 2005, Michael Salemi has been a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and in 2009 he received his Kettlebell Instructor certification through the International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation (IKFF). While integrating personal knowledge and experience in the areas of Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, kettlebell training and nutrition, Michael has been able to develop unique programs for the modern day athlete. From beginners to professional athletes, Michael trains individuals of all age and skill levels. He has been working closely with respected Strength and Conditioning Coach Brien Shamp to broaden his own skills and talents as a personal trainer and team strength coach. From 2005-2007, Michael and Brien were strength and conditioning coaches of the Santa Clara University Men’s Tennis Program. Currently Michael and Brien are the strength and conditioning coaches of the College of San Mateo Men's Baseball and Notre Dame de Namur University Women's Basketball Program.
Michael has two degrees from Santa Clara University, with majors in Marketing and Italian, as well as a minor in International Business. Michael Salemi continually seeks out new methods that will increase his knowledge and expertise in sports performance and believes strongly that one can never learn enough their Quest For Strength.

Fitness has always been the greatest part of my life and I love sharing it with others. I have spent the last two years working as a personal trainer as well as coaching youth at the high school level. My passion is to give people of all walks of life the tools necessary to reach their health and fitness goals. My training style draws from many different methods anywhere from balance and stabilization to power lifting and olympic weight lifting, including yoga and pilates techniques as well as functional resistance training and now kettlebells.
I graduated from the University of Arizona where I was an All-American Track and Field athlete. I am certified by both the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as by USA Weightlifting as a Sport Performance Coach. I have worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach for both the University of South Florida and Utah State University. Now I look to continue my education and keep spreading it to as many as I can reach.

Fitness has always been my passion. I started in high school with 4 years of wrestling. After High school, I spent over 10 years in the US Army, 6 years as a US Army Ranger. I was a fitness instructor for Powerhouse Gym and 24 hour Fitness. With my start in RKC, I hope to better educate myself of kettlebells through IKFF.

As Owner/Head trainer at BeachSide CrossFit in Ventura CA I can note that Health & Fitness has been a lifelong journey for myself, this is a path that started before I could shave my face or drive myself to a gym. I was a kid living the American dream (obesity), went from thin and trim as a young kid to flab and drab before I was out of Junior High, I couldn’t see my feet, I decided to put a change to that, and its continued to evolve, through lifelong practical , sport and education. As my knowledge continues to grow so does my passion to start a change in others lives, whether it be to get back to fit, or take a current level of fitness to athletic potential.
My education background falls into an area outside of the fitness world, I graduated with a Degree in Electronics Engineering, this degree led me to a great opportunity to see the world, I traveled extensively for over 7 years, trotting all over the planet, I have wondered over 24 states in this great country, and been deep in culture in 20 different countries over 6 continents. From walking down the streets of Kiev in the Ukraine, to standing in front of the Kremlin and birthplace of Kettlebell in Moscow, stepping off the bullet train in Tokyo, or snowboarding down 20,000ft of mountains in the Swiss Alps, on the back of moped that looked and felt like it could break in half in India , watching Shaolin Monks perform in China, spending time in Muy Thai training camps in Phuket (Thailand) then riding the back of elephants in Chaing Mai (Thailand) , to training with mma UFC fighter in Hove, England (John “the hitman” Hathaway).
What does this all have to do with Kettlebell training? …… It has given me a unique perspective on life, family, health and fitness. All different cultures, different languages, different lifestyles all share a common bond, the body and its amazing ability to be sick or well ,weak or strong, fit or unfit.
