3 Minute Long Cycle Sprint Men – (Two kettlebells, can only compete with 20k, 24kg or 32kg) Women – (One kettlebell/one hand switch, can only compete with 16kg, 20kg or 24kg)
**You may only allowed to compete in 1 event** Special Event! (Can pick one of the above AND this event) Long Cycle Relay • 4 competitors/3 min per competitor • Male team division (all men compete with 24kg) • Women team division (all women will compete with 16kg) • Co-ed team division (2 men and 2 women – men use 24kg and women use 16kg) • Women will compete with one bell, men will compete with two. Women are allowed one hand switch • To do this event in addition to one of the above (biathlon or LC), e-mail Ashleigh with your four person team by August 15th.
• To register ONLY for the relay, make sure to check “only relay” if you plan on competing in this event but NOT biathlon or long cycle. • Winning teams will get individual medals along with “IKFF National Championship Team” award! Divisions: Female Divisions: Amateur (8kg, 12kg, 16kg and 20kg bells) – any age Professional (24kg bell) – any age Masters (12kg bell) – 40 + Seniors (8kg bell) – 55+ Juniors (12kg bell) – up to 20 years Youth (8kg bell) – up to 16 years Male Divisions: Amateur (16kg, 20kg and 24kg bell) – any age Professional (32kg bell) – any age Masters (20 kg bell) – 40 + Seniors (16kg bell) – 55+ Juniors (16kg bell) – up to 20 years Youth (12kg bell) – up to 15 years (note – there is no rank for this k-bell weight) Important Note: Again, you can only compete in ONE event and ONE Division. Thus, as an example, you cannot compete in both biathlon and long cycle. However, you can compete in biathlon or long cycle AND do the special event (Long Cycle relay).
However, your age does not limit your division. As an example, a 16 year old or 40+ year old competitor could compete as an “Amateur”. They don’t have to compete as a “Junior” or “Master”.
Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals given to all division winners Overall Best lifter Awards for: • Men’s 32kg • Men’s 24kg • Women’s 24kg • Women’s 20kg Any lifter who achieves CMS or MS will be sent a customized plaque after the meet! As mentioned above, winners in the LC relay will receive individual medals along with “IKFF National Championship Team” award!
